RCIC-Rite of Christian Initiation of Children

The RCIC is a sacramental program for children over the age of seven and teens. It is designed for children and teens who would like to be prepared to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism - if they have not been baptized as infants - Confirmation, and First communion as members of the Catholic Church at Assumption Parish. It also includes preparation and the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). If your child would like to celebrate the sacraments and be involved in the faith life of the Assumption community with you, we welcome your child in the RCIC. Sesions are held once a week on Wednesdays and start in September, after Labor Day.

ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CHURCH INVITES YOU TO RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) PROCESS. The RCIA sessions have begun. They are held on Monday's 6:30-8:00 PM in the Ministry Center. Anyone interested in learning about the Faith of Catholics and the Catholic Church is welcome to join any time during September and October.

If you are an adult planning Confirmation in the coming year, you are invited to attend as well.
